Application & Guidelines

The Research Fellowships bring together faculty and advanced graduate students (writing dissertations) in order to enable scholarly exchanges that cross departmental and disciplinary boundaries. Fellows participate in a research colloquium, chaired by the Center's Director, that meets regularly throughout the academic year; each meeting focuses on the project of one of the fellows.

Faculty Fellows

Up to seven fellows are selected through an external review. The fellowship provides release for two courses, either to be taken in one semester or over the course of the academic year.  Faculty members wishing to complete a fellowship with another unit at the same time as the Center fellowship must gain permission from the Director.  Faculty members cannot complete a Center fellowship during the same
academic year in which they take a sabbatical.
