Elizabeth Stoyanov Hernandez holds a B.A. in Business from Miami International University of Art and Design where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained Leadership Seminar Certificate and Dean’s List Merit Awards. Elizabeth has extensive experience with specialized client-centric services and support, sponsorship, and donor relations, dedicated to identifying needs, delivering exceptional experiences, and conveying creative ideas and effective solutions to problems. Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, and has familiarity in French. As a people person who believes in continuous learning and growth, Elizabeth is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Miami Coral Gables Campus. Prior to her arrival at University of Miami’s Center for the Humanities, Elizabeth served as Project Manager for a home improvement company in Miami where she utilized her strategic thinking, time management, and organizational skills to orchestrate and supervise large-scale projects. She developed strategies for brand awareness and recognition, managed deadlines and timelines, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals, establishing outstanding communication with clients and vendors across diverse industries and backgrounds, ensuring they felt heard, valued, and their goals understood. Passionate about helping others, lending a hand to help the community, and creating interactions that leave lasting impressions, Elizabeth has also worked as a Sponsorship and Fundraising Coordinator, collaborating with various non-profits in securing donations, corporate sponsors and auction materials, as well as with planning, logistics, and execution of the organizations’ major fundraiser events. She is also actively involved in volunteering with various local charities like Chapman Partnerships, Angels for Humanities, The Miami Give Back, Little Lighthouse Foundation, among others, that benefit children and adults experiencing homelessness, and in underprivileged and poverty-stricken communities. Elizabeth grew up in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of a Cuban mother and a Bulgarian Greek father, and thanks her multicultural heritage, upbringing, and travels for her appreciation of diverse cultures, and expertise with populations and communities from various backgrounds. With her extensive background in marketing, non-profit fundraiser event planning, and improving client’s journeys, Elizabeth is excited to be able to contribute to the traditions and roster of events at the University of Miami Center for the Humanities that are designed and developed to support faculty and students, while broadening the importance of the Humanities to different industries and its interrelatedness to other careers.
